Are there spiral stairs in the sims 4?

No, not yet anyway.

They stairs are with the toddlers...and the pools...and the pinball...and the gaming consoles...and the...

You would think they'd put them in the base game, but I won't fuss too much about it. IIRC we didn't get spiral stairs until Generations in TS3.

They're included in TS4: Generations.

No, I was quite sad over this. As I hate the other stairs, they take up way to much floor room.

I know, but after featuring them in the EPs of 1, 2 and 3, they might have tried adding it to the base game of 4 for a bit of a change. Or, shock horror, for progress!

Trust me, I agree. Not only spiral stairs, but bunkbeds would have been a nice addition to base game. The lots are so small and the bills are so high, it's not always feasible to add on another room for a growing family. Also, the regular stairs take up so much room, it's not always so easy to build up.

I want a dishwasher more in Sims 4 than I do IRL. (I don't have one IRL either.)

There's a lot of things that could have been added without having to make outrageous changes. For one thing, they could have limited the gym to just one town. They could have had a restaurant or a bakery/cafe in another town, and a bowling alley or a recreational/community center in one town. So, let's say Willow Springs has the library, gym, lounge, and Oasis Springs has the arcade/restaurant/bar/bakery. That would, at least, give our Sims a reason to travel to the different venues.

As it is, I'm wondering how they're going to possibly introduce new venues to the game, short of creating a separate world and calling it Downtown, and making it be nothing BUT community lots.
