Are there spiral stairs in the sims 4?
I'm just wondering as I don't have the game yet.

They could have had a restaurant or a bakery/cafe in another town, and a bowling alley or a recreational/community center in one town. As it is, I'm wondering how they're going to possibly introduce new venues to the game, short of creating a separate world and calling it Downtown, and making it be nothing BUT community lots.
I did this in my game, to some extent, I removed all the libraries, gyms, and art galleries. I don't ever go to them and really hate when a sim takes me there on a date. I replaced them with houses, spas, or parks. This is an easy fix.
Where as the spiral staircase the only way to get one is with a CC and I don't use CCs or mods in my games.
