Best website to publish Sims stories?

Blogger is what I've used for years for longer stories. Probably not much difference using blogger to wordpress though. Main advantage to blogger is that if you have a gmail/goggle account, you don't have to make a new account.

My current technique for Sims 4 is posting a short piece on tumblr and then putting a copy over here. (As the Sims Twirl)

It's a bummer that you can't upload pics here, though I guess they are worried about storage space.

Great i'll give it a look! Yeah the fact that they don't really have an official sims 4 website with an exchange and everything like they used to is really unfortunate.

Glad I stumbled across this thread. I was wondering the same thing, myself. I used WordPress, in the past, because a player had opened an account and invited those of us who were playing the Legacy Challenge in Sims3, to post our stories on her site. I had never really blogged about a Legacy before. I prefer to write up what happened, filling in the motivation/reasons why this or that occurred, making a true story of it. I'm short on pictures, normally, but many who did give comments on my segments asked for pictures. This time I'm trying to be more conscious about it and snapping a few pictures as I go along. So I would need a site that allows for images. :) User friendly is also a perk.

Hi! I've used Blogger for several sims stories, an I think it works just fine, and is easy to use. I think Blogger also gives you a benefit when it comes to google, because it's the same owner. Not that readers will search for legacies through google though, it might be more common to find stories here on the forums,

About pictures, make sure to save them "for web". If they are too big files, your free & limited account will get full sooner. When saving for web it takes years to fill up the account though, so no problem :)

The trick with legacies you post elsewhere is to advertise them in the forums - either have a thread for them and their updates or at least have links in your sig. I go with links in sig for my Sims 3 stories at the moment.

I recommend wordpress! It's very easy to use! you can make it look like a blog, a website, or whatever you choose. so simple to see stats and everything. you can check out my old legacy, i don't update it anymore because im planing on making a sims4 one.. but you can look at it for layout ideas..
