Thanks again, @rosemow -- I always look forward to seeing your comments.
Even though I did this build earlier this month, I guess it's appropriate to share today, since we now know that seasons will soon be a thing in TS4. Back when Brindleton Bay was first announced as the new world in C&D, I was pretty excited because it's based on the northeast coast of the USA, and I live in that area. If you visit someplace around here, you might occasionally find restaurants where the seating is mostly outdoors, they're only open in the summer because that's the only time the weather is nice enough to dine outdoors around here, and the menu might include things like ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, fried clams, etc. So I decided to make a restaurant like that on the docks of Brindleton Bay. I call it Clem Chowder's Snack Shack -- well, except on the Gallery because the names of things there have character limitations, so it's called Clem Chowder's SnackShack on the Gallery. (And yes, once again, the name is punny: Clem Chowder -- clam chowder.) I imagine that the owner of this restaurant would be an animal lover like just about everyone else in Brindleton Bay, hence the line of paw prints walking up to the door.

Technically, this is the view from the back of the restaurant, but it's also the view that Sims would see when they're coming down to the docks to grab a bite to eat here. That's why I've got those two happy crab signs facing in this direction -- advertising. Also, I like the faded posters on the side of the building, if I do say so myself; they make it look like this shack may have served some other purpose before it became a restaurant.

Here we have the indoors, at an angle that gives a good view of the kitchen and bathroom, but you can also see a bit of the (small) indoor dining area. I imagine the kitchen would get pretty busy if you've unlocked a lot of restaurant perks and have a full complement of chefs and waiters; I hope that wouldn't make this build unplayable or anything like that. I try to design most of my builds so that they'll work in regular gameplay.

Last but not least, here's the interior from the opposite angle. If I had the walls up, you'd be able to see all the signage I put around the opening to one of the chef stations. I also added a pet food bowl and some pet toys; initially I was thinking that the owner of the restaurant would bring his pet to work with him and the pet would act as a mascot for the restaurant, but in retrospect, I don't think Sims can actually bring their cats and dogs to restaurants. I could be wrong, though; I haven't actually tested that yet.

All in all, if I were to renovate this build at some point (especially to accommodate the addition of weather to the game), I'd move the host station inside, move the bar underneath the shelter from Toddler Stuff, and add some more outdoor seating. Do those sound like good ideas to you, or would it be better for me to leave things the way they are?
