They're just kids doing what colleges indoctrinate them to do: using hate to get everyone to conform to what they say, lest you be labeled a "racist" or "sexist" or a person with a "phobia". It's a very powerful way to censor all dissenting opinions by getting people to censor themselves lest you be hatefully attacked in such a way. People need to stop caving to it or it just gets worse since it works.
