Sorry to hear about everything going on in your life. That's a lot for a person to have to deal with, and I can't imagine how hard it is to go through. Hoping for the best for you and your family.
As far as the racist and sexist comments go, it really is dumb, but to be honest, not surprising. People these days find anything offensive, and they will find "racism" and "sexism" in everything. I use quotes for those two terms because people these days have changed the meaning of those words to fit whatever agenda they're trying to push. These two labels, along with many others, are starting to lose real meaning to them with how often they're thrown at people who don't qualify for them.
I would say it's definitely best to ignore these comments. I know I might not be in much of a position to say this to you, given what you're currently dealing with, and I don't have a right to think you can just easily ignore these comments because of the stress of everything else, but try not to let these types of comments bother you. I can't count how many times I've been called these names for stupid reasons or seen others called them for stupid reasons, as well.
