Busybody/"neighborly" trait or aspiration.

I was talking about this on another suggestion and some people liked it. The busybody wants to know a lot of sims. Friendship isn't so important as long as they know them. The first thing your sim wants to do is meet a lot of sims. They want to also visit their homes. They want to be invited to all the parties. They long to make connections with other sims, such as being a sort of matchmaker too. They want to be the grandmotherly or grandfatherly type to children, a mentor, and helpful neighbor. But they are prone to gossip too. Let them learn too much and they can be trouble if they spill secrets. They are also the ones to remember a lot of helpful information once they skill up and are the first to be able to tell you a secret recipe, a secret fishing spot, the best bait and where all the parties and social events will be. They can be very opinionated. Some are perfectionists or at least believe they know the best way of doing everything. Some busybodies can be evil and spread rumors or false information too, just for their own pleasure, others really are just sweet and neighborly mostly, but they can't help overhearing things when they have a lot of friends. It is just hard to remember who you promised not to tell information to.

I can imagine them mentoring younger kids, bringing snacks, and being friendly to other people's pets. They also offer their opinion on how children should be raised and can be a nag at times.

They seldom get bored of just talking and talking about anything to anyone. They are outgoing and extroverted usually, but some can be reclusive and resort to finding out their information by spying or other means. Some can just be trolls online, finding out and sharing information by chatting it up with others.

Most everyone in town will find something interesting about the busy body, even if they hate him or her, they can't help themselves sometimes just wanting to know some juicy gossip about others. If they suspect anything is going on and they can't find out, off they run to the busybody and if he or she doesn't already know, the it isn't worth knowing.

The busy body doesn't mind being called up in the middle of the night but also is likely to call others too. They can't way to get up and get out of the house. If they are cooped up too long, they get tense. If they have a pet, they can send their pet to sniff things out, spy on people, or rig them up to take images with a hidden camera. They can have a dog or listening into conversations with a hidden bug in their collar.

Having a Busybody as a cop or spy or in the criminal career is good. They can enjoy their work and find out a lot about other people. They may not like Careers where they are not able to talk or visit with others. While they could write a gossip column or a book with some revealing back story about a sim, just sitting down to write it would make them tense. It is so much more fun to share the information in person. While they are sitting writing, all sorts of things could be happening and they don't want to miss it.

High level Charisma is needed to be a very good Busy Body and also to joke or make a smooth exit or excuse. They may also need to be in shape in case another sim wants to have a fight with them!
