Choosing Your Sim's Style of Speech

I always assumed that the types in CAS are meant to represent different speaking styles. For example, the Lilted one has a sort of inflection/emphasis on the end of the phrase when a Sim speaks which is meant to be different from the Clear style. Perhaps it's just not executed as well as it could be.
