We also have hot chestnut vendors in our City Centre in the winter.
If Maxis does a country living or throwback to the fifties and sixties we also used to bake them in the embers of an open fire indoors. They tasted much better and a little smokey like that. We also cooked potatoes in their jackets at the base of Guy Fawkes Night bonfires and they tasted more delicious than oven cooked ones. Happy days. (We were experts at building and tending bonfires :) in those days)!
