Controller support for PC/Mac

Since the console edition of The Sims 4 got keyboard and mouse support, can PC/Mac now get controller support? I myself would like to plug my PC into a TV every now and then to play some Sims 4 (with my mods and currently owned packs) in the comfort of my living room.
