Creating family members later on?
I know that this is actually possible with cheats in some of the sims games, but I always wanted to add parents or grandparents after controlling my sim for a while. Yay or nay?

- You can do that.
To do this, click on the household, then on three dots and then on the Manage Household button. Click on the pencil and you'll enter the CAS with ability to add and remove sims. - I ended up adding parents to my adult (almost elder) sims who already had two YA children (one with of which already has their own kids) and a teen. For some reason the dad had a blank spot in his family tree for his parents, so I just created them as elders, got their relationships up, and cheated them to die of old age. Seems odd I know, but the blank spot was bothering me.
