This sounds totally awesome. I'd be game for this. My thing is I wouldn't want them to be the size of Granite Falls because honestly I'd be so bored and it wouldn't have enough interaction for me to want to play it. I'm not sure how they can do it as an gamepack and still be able to make it in a way players would be happen with it though.
