@Metior_Ice, I honestly can't imagine playing the Sims without mods. They can bring so much depth and richness to under-explored areas while cleaning up so many annoying bugs and even intended behaviors that I personally dislike. I believe the Sims really benefits hugely from the incredible modding community.
Not that I mean to advocate spending a large sum of money on new hardware just to be able to use mods... :)
