Mods seems like such a pain. I don't use them, although I've thought about one or two things that could be fun to mod in.
Good luck with the decision making process. A new pc plus re-buying your DLC packs (you do have to re-buy packs when you move to console to pc right?) seems like a pretty big investment of money. I wonder if there's a way you could try out a modded game on someone else's system before buying.
