(Discontinued) Metior_Ice’s Story Thread

I’m going to give updates on how close I am to my next update here. If the mods work, I’ll probably create a new thread for my story.

I’m thinking of changing things up with my twins. There are things I always wanted to be able to do during their childhood, and if the mods give them a merman form in the child life stage, I will definitely be turning back the clock on their age.

I’ve always felt like my twins were cheated out of their mermadic childhood. So, I’m hoping to start their story there if possible.

I hope you're able to find some interesting mods for children. You may be already aware or this (and this is not a mod for children sims), but there's an expanded mermaid powers mod that will be released on March 1.

@haneul I created a thread for people to show off what their merfolk are up to in their game. I shared that exact video. My new profile picture comes from me testing out one of their mods.

I can honestly say that they have created an extraordinary mod that really captures so much of what I feel like I was missing in the game. The animations from their smaller mod were so fluid!

Since I already spent so much getting set up to play the sims on my pc, I felt comfortable supporting them. After all, they created a mod that does so much of what I was looking for after not finding that anywhere else for so long!

Island Living was one of the earliest expansion packs for the Sims 4.

I plan on testing the mod tomorrow morning, but I won’t be able to actually play until next week! The wait is killing me. That mod… it’s doing so much to revitalize my creativity with sims gameplay.

I’ve even started taking steps to reconnect with my social media, an important step towards creating my own personal works!

Like, words can’t describe how excited I’ve become because of this mod… I just can’t wait to explore it!

I look forward to sharing things again! I’m really super excited to go into CAS and create my household and give them a quick test. And believe me, as soon as I’m able to, I will be simming like I haven’t simmed before.

The timing for everything feels just right for it all.

@Metior_Ice I read your recent school update and love it! Dylan and Zeph are really funny mers! I love just reading all their talking even if it is silly, I just enjoy their stories and watching them exist, you are so good at breathing life into them and how different yet connected they are.

I wish you all the luck about the computer! I know that is a huge investment your doing but you are SOOOO passionate about you're story and it makes you truly happy then I think that is a good investment, sims 4 is sticking around for quite a while so I really don't think it is at a lost and also I don't see the consoles giving permission to use mods, it is not up to EA but the people who run Xbox or playstation.

Whatever you decided, I am rooting for you and keep us posted!

It’s here! I’m going to be testing out the expanded mermaids mod tonight! Like, I can barely contain myself! Again, circumstances won’t allow for as much gameplay as I would like, but there’s a very good chance that I will have some new updates soon!

Tonight, I will know for sure if I will be starting over with a new story thread!
