Hydroponics is the latest fashionable type of farming which you can do on a very small plot. I saw one on TV today which uses fish tanks as a basis for irrigating plants, veg. and fruit. Same water re-circulating all the time. The sort of thing that Maxis could use if we get a world in space pack!
