Backstory
I'm always trying new designs so my buildings don't start look formulaic, and one of the things I've been experimenting with is placing a pool in the front yard, rather than on the backyard patio. My first attempt in the 8th building of my modern loft series fell flat, perhaps due to being overly complicated. I tried to correct a few deficiencies, such as improving the internal layout and using a higher contrast color scheme. It's a bit smaller than my usual designs, but I was able to fit 2 bedrooms into it. The main theme of this house is black vs white, as shown by the color choices of the bedrooms and the chess table on the lofted floor.
