Yes I really wish we had the option to invite over a sim and their family it could be a separate option for "invite to hangout" and could be "invite sim and their household/relatives to hangout" and it brings up a separate menu where you can choose which sims you want to invite (also showing their relationship to the sim you know). So you can meet the family of a friend or relative whithout having to go to the houses of everyone you want your sim to meet.
