Father Winter

I'm just wondering if everyone experience the same. Father Winter is calling to my sims all the time, also trying to come over. I find it a little creepy that he is calling to my sims every day. I don't really want to be friends with Santa except the Christmas time. Can anyone tell me how to make him to show up only for holidays?
