Yes, the building aspect does take some getting use to but many of the aspects are better than TS3. However, since the last patch, there's some problems with certain wall coverings disappearing, making the walls transparent. The only fix seems to be to replace the wall covering with another wall covering. It's frustrating and I'm waiting for Maxis to put out a patch for the patch.
They have added some pretty awesome tools to the build mode that I really like, especially with making things larger (my favorite) I do miss CAST but trying my best to make it work.
Yikes I think I saw something about walls disappearing on twitter but paid it really no mind thinking it must be some fluke with some bad cc or something. Hopefully they will have it fixed quickly.
