You remember correctly. Asher's definitely calmed from the early days, but he's still... As for Elmire, I think your image is 100% correct. She saw the karaoke machine and wanted to sing and sing and sing again non-stop. Every snow-related whim/want disappeared for her, never to be seen again while they were there. She can't get enough music. I wonder what people would think if she decided to become a doctor or something scientific when she grew up.
