Hello! I've decided to create a thread for my legacy with links to related posts on my blog. Fier Legacy Asher Fier in his office. Introduction. This is a slow-paced gameplay-based legacy....
I loved all of this story, and also enjoyed the improvement in both storytelling and screenshots from the very beginning until now. I think you mentioned on another thread that you prefer to direct readers away from the start of your story but actually I thought it was really great to be able to see how your thought process evolved and how you really settled into the kind of story that you wanted to tell over the span of gen 4 and 5.
What i love most about it is your depiction of internal struggle, like Deli's doubts about her vampirism at the beginning and the questions she had to ask herself, particularly those about her immortality and how every mortal she loved would eventually grow old and die while she remained the same. Now we're seeing it again with Adelise. (Who I adore) Her backstory and her reasons for marrying Asher really struck a chord with me, as the reasons she did it are clear, but I wonder if the price she had to say for it is too high. I know that Asher is trying his best with her and clearly he's come a long way since his beginnings as someone with next to no empathy, but he still has a long way to go. I feel for Adelise a lot, how painful it must be for her to navigate her life, knowing that in many ways she's happy and she loves her children, but her festering grudge against her husband is really eating away at her. I'm so curious as to what is going to happen between them.
That being said, I enjoy Asher a lot. He's so pompous and big-headed that it makes me laugh. Everything he does seems so misguided, and I thought his meeting with Dyna's fiancé when he kept asking "what do you like about her? What else? What else? What else?" was so so funny. Also him inexplicably burning piles of money in the garden after they JUST got this enormous bill and had to spend hundreds of thousands of simoleons on various things. He cares a lot about his family too though, in his own way, even if he's a little much sometimes.
Elmire is a gem, and the way she responds to Cocoa is really lovely. Recently, her thoughts about being a vampire have been interesting, especially now that the new baby has been born a vampire. I wonder how this will affect her.
Overall, I'm thrilled to be caught up and excited to see what comes next :)
Also the house you build for them is absolutely stunning, it must have taken you forever.
