I'd love more recipes in TS4! I agree with a lot of the suggestions above, including more cultural choices. Here's some of the different foods I'd like to have (*note some may be duplicates) and any appliances some may require:
A juicer is a great idea to make smoothies and other drink recipes with additional fruits & veggies to be grown in our gardens such as: pineapple, mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers and even asparagus.
Bagels & Toast - Of course we'd need a toaster or toaster oven would be even better for these along with assorted toppings, like cream cheese, lox, jams, jellies, peanut butter, etc.
Corn - On the cob grown in gardens to be cooked and eaten as is, used as a side dish, casseroles and relish.
Homemade pizza - Need a pizza oven!

Casseroles - I think the only ones we have is Tuna & Taco. I'd like to see Goulash, Manicotti, Lasagna, Enchiladas, Ragù Bolognese, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, Cheesy Potato and Shepard's Pie.
Pasties - Michigan or Cornish
Reuben, Gyro and Chicken Salad Sandwiches
Soups - Chicken noodle, bean, broccoli cheese, potato and tomato to dunk our grilled cheese in :) (my kids loved to do that)
BBQ Spareribs
Fried Chicken
Cinnamon Rolls
Beef and/or Venison Stew & Biscuits
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Waldorf Salad
More pies - Rhubarb, Minemeat, Sweet Potato, Turtle, Boston Cream, Blueberry and Peach (bonus if we can grow the rhubarb, blueberries and peaches)
Belgian Waffles
Crêpes Suzette
S'mores
Paczki
I'll stop here for now. A lot of these dishes are very fattening, but meh. They're delicious! Annnnd, now I'm hungry! ;)
