European Architecture Tour: TuscanyA beautiful converted Tuscan farmhouse (or Podere) inspired by the many pauper-turned-prince homes of this Italian region. Known for using raw, local materials such as stone and wood, Tuscan architecture has become so popular, it is often seen outside of Italy to display luxury without being garish. This two bedroom home comes complete with a huge kitchen, plenty of outdoor space, a lovely living room and not one but TWO pools!!! (one of which is disguised as an ancient Etruscan watering trough or, in Italian, Fonte). The house is very much inspired by my childhood home in Volterra, Tuscany as well as many of the homes in the area.
