Hobbies Gamepack

I always wanted more sports in the sims 4 so I came up with an idea to have a game pack that adds more activities for your sims and more hobbies!

Sports

Basketball - this should be more developed than in cl where our sim can play together.

Volleyball - I don't think we have any type of beach in the sims 4 but I was more thinking the kind you play on a court but beach volleyball is cool too.

Surfing and Scuba diving - I know we can't swim in open water but thinking about Brindleton Bay, I would love to have surfing and scuba diving.

Water sports - Again, I'm imagining that sims can swim in open water and if they can then water sports like canoeing/rowing would be fun.

Rollerblading

Horseracing - We don't have horses but if we got them I would really like horseracing.

Water polo - This is more to give sims more things to do in pools.

Swimming - would be great if our sims could compete against each other.

Synchronized swimming

Winter sports - We would have to get a seasons expansion. The packs would overlap I guess so maybe this wouldn't work but ice skating and snowboarding would be fun too.

Those are just some sports they could add. I'm not sure how they would implement this but I just want to see sims have competitions and matches, I think that would be fun. I also want our sims to be able to watch these competitions and matches and cheer other Sims on. Maybe even bet on e winner and gain or lose money. I don't expect them to use all of these sports, these are just ideas.

Yes, to everything. Please, and thank you. There is such a lack of activities in this version of the game. The excuse that the game will 'get better in time' is wearing very thin. We're in the fourth year and TS4 still doesn't have the breadth and depth of activities that the other iterations had within the same time period.

Yes. All of my yes. Take nothing but the yes. Shut up and take my yes. I'd really like more of this in the game. Specifically, the following:

Soccer. I don't even like the sport, but I feel like it'd be fun in the Sims.

Martial Arts. This was really fun to max out in the Sims 3 and it was fun watching my Sim train other Sims in the art. With the smoother animations of ther Sims 4, I really hope this makes a return.

Fencing\Swordplay. They could look at the Sims Medieval for ideas. In that game, you could even kill other Sims with swordplay.

Boxing. I don't know. As I mentioned, there was a game that allowed Sims to kill other Sims which was the Sims Medieval. And with Martial Arts, they do hit each other. I'd like to see this since it feels so odd to me you can only use boxing skills with the bag. Why add it in if it can't be used for what its originally supposed to be used for?

Breakdancing. Just because I like watching my Sims dance.

Archery. It would be cool, but I wonder if it's going to be any more interesting than just watching a Sim shoot at a target.

For the open water activites, if we ever get the ability to swim in open water, I agree completely.

Rollerblading.

As for more hobby ideas in particular, you could do the following:

Sketching: I really miss the sketch pad of the Sims 3 University and personally, I think Sketching is a very beautiful thing to learn.

Gambling: This could be introduced in some kind of Late Night EP.

Urban Exploration: This could introduce a more urban city world where your Sim can explore tunnels, bridges, etc.

Caving.

Scrapbooking.

They are fantastic pics! Yes I would love to have a Sports Pack based on physical activities. Salsa dancing? I'd flip! These games have given us some great things over the years, and I'm so looking forward to seeing what Sims 4 will end up bringing.

With the way public spaces are, I would love to go ice skating on a lake that freezes over in Winter.

YES TO EVERYTHING!!

Skate Boarding, Rollerblades, Tennis/Badmin/Squash, Volley, pretty much most Beach activities.

I do kick boxing in rl so I'd really like to see that :relaxed:

Just think when they introduce the hobby pack your Sims will love playing video games and talking on video game websites, again put that old pc to use with more options in the pie menus of how to use the pc in TS4! :( Sarcasasm off: great ideas I hope you get them all. And no, no more stuff to do on a pc....go beyond the pc to outdoors Maxis.

To be fair, we literally just started the fourth year a little over a month ago. But I agree, I wish we had more hobbies. I feel like I don't really know what to make my Sims do when they're off work anymore. Painting, woodworking and gardening are fun, but only for so long.

I agree that's why we need more hobbies because it will give our sims more to do. It will also add somewhere our sims can go to socialize or go on dates if we had somewhere like a roller rink or a golf course.

I was thinking about something like this. I can imagine a teen or child sim practicing laps to get better and then entering competitions. It would honestly add so much to my game.
