How do you guys build 2 floor foyers?

Hi everyone I love the look of a 2 floor foyer where you walk in the house and there is a beautiful wide open space where the ceiling is 2 floors high and the staircase goes up and looks high. I ha...

Without my method, there would be no possible way to place a ceiling within the yellow area.


you should still be able to use the room tool on that floor and drag it over your foyer in order to get a ceiling. Then again I never had the problem of a disappearing ceiling if I removed a floor of a room
