How would you add gameplay depth?
A common complaint that I see on the boards is that the game lacks depth. I see many complaints but few ideas for how to correct this. This is just for fun so don't send me looking for other thread...

Honestly I'm happy with the game though I always think it could be even better. Everything you described sounds wonderful and I'm itching for more generations style family play.
Personally my idea of more depth is the small details. Like sims being able to walk together is so something but it's such a BIG deal to me. It will really make my family outings so much better with more bonding along with the sentiments.
I want to see much more of those kind of things. I would love see sims walking and holding hand, being able to walk holding kids hands too.
A sim being able to ride on the back of the bike or aquazip.
Cuddling in bed or by the fireplace on the floor. Sims just being able to hold eachother.
Children being able to sleep with their parents when they get scared from the monster under the bed
Being able to hold and comfort a sad or crying sim with proper animations.
Sims relaxing on chairs
Kids and toddlers being able to sit on their parents lap during movie night.
Dancing facing eachother or with kids standing on their feet.
Ability to sit on floors or counters or fences or platforms.
I can go on and on. But those are the little details that make the game NEXT LEVEL depth to me.
That's why I'm so darn excited for sims hiking together more than anything else in the pack lol.
