How would you add gameplay depth?

Sims 2 turn on turn off system like favorite hair color, eye color, body type skinny fat or muscle that covers a portion of the slider, male or female if they ever labeled clothing in styles like country punk formal casual and so on that would also be a good option

Enhanced traits that do more than give the Sims mood swings. Traits need to do more than giving Sims certain moodlets for doing a activity because it ends up in the end not mattering what you get as they all have same exact result a emotion is activated then what. Traits need to be tied to unique behaviors with their own animations reactions including idle animations like a neat Sim randomly dusting a object and 6 years later playing sports has not been added to bros why don't bros enjoy bowling or playing take turns robotic basketball

More group activities I could list off so much as this game is still pretty much built for single Sims they did better with Snowy Escape activities but it still remains the same our Sims still cant even dance together its like everyone who parties together at the club are single.

I do think Sentiments was a small step in the right direction but it still needs to be improved on I seen someone say they had a baby born in game and nothing happened you would think that would be pretty major in a Sims life be it happiest moment or jealousy moment from a child give some reaction. Now if babies are being updated ever I'm okay with it being updated with them but if not major fail there
