I DO Miss Color Picker from Sims 3
Once again I was trying to really renovate a home, only to realize that just like in Sims 2, Sims 4 suffer from what I HOPE is bad communication between designers and not "trolling users" (No I don't actually think they do, but sometimes it just seems so... silly and annoying).
Basically Colors that SHOULD be the same are NOT!
Typical examples:
The glass railing: The Stairs railing is DARKER than the normal railing for no reason. The way to match them is if I pick the lightest stair railing, and the middle gray normal railing, because they're the same color. There is a color pick for the normal railing that is identical in the picker as the stairs one, but it is bright white, for some reason, when used in game.
Another one: Matching sinks and toilets: Several of them has things like "Oh now both's main colors match, but the shower, tub and sink all have the same wood finish with green accents but the toilet have the same wood finish and a blue accent".
The heck?? It's like they deliberately troll me. (Again, I don't think so, but it FEELS like it). Someone didn't get the memo?
Toilers, in general, just don't match the rest of the bathrooms at all. Why design matching sink - shower -tub colors and then just don't bother with the toilets?
At least most living room and dining room furniture match. That was HORRIBAD in Sims 2, where the chairs clearly meant to go with table X had a different wood finish and looked awful.
