- Kita5399New SpectatorOh my gosh same! I was playing a sim tonight and having the worst time dressing her, not every female wants to be a fashionista or completely grunge. Nice simple versatile clothing would be lovely.
- Kimmer_oneRising TravelerI don't need more basic clothes for women necessarily, but adult men need more, especially pants and jeans that aren't too short or ripped.
- telemwillSeasoned AceI've been looking at my CC. Some pieces I can't replace include basic jeans, shorts, and skirts that are high waisted enough to take the crop out of the longest crop tops. I am constantly using them. Another is a long sweater top which I can use with skinny jeans or pair with leggings to wear in winter. Those are basic pieces that I don't feel anything in game currently replaces. I also have three longer skirts that work well for my more modest Sims.
- DaWaterRatNew VanguardMore long jeans for men, more graphic t-shirts for all ages (not just men and women) Heck, more plain t-shirts for all ages. Basic crew neck sweaters (there are so many turtlenecks), more ballet flats. Lots of basics we're missing and I end up using the same 2-3 over and over again.
I could also use some more knee length skirts, but I know that gets tricky with the rigging. - logionXSeasoned HotshotI agree so much, I want more normal pants for men, and plain sweatshirts and t-shirts. Everything is so stylized in the sims 4.
A lot of the basic clothing that's in the game is from base game. I keep using so much base game clothing if I want to make a sim that is using basic clothing. - Ever wondered how vampires manage to maintain their ancient clothing? One would think they would be full of holes and patches over time, unless they hired tailors to give them exact copies of the old outfits.
- I have a few thoughts on this:
- I'd like to see scarfs (maybe as a necklace option).
- Jeans that actually reach the ankles!
- Winter clothing that has collars (re: scarfs, poor sims must get cold necks in winter).
- Some really scruffy clothes would be good too. Dirty-kneed jeans, tops with patched elbows, buttons missing from shirts etc.
- I'm looking for something that looks hand-stitched, almost like it's made of an old sack, but that's just for one particular Sim. I think I'll have to end up making that one myself though, as it is so specific.

- Oh yes I agree! I have a lot of cc stuff now but even all that is all like
Cropped and stuff. I had a hard time dressing a grandma and ended up using the normal
Sims clothing because everything just looked too young or didn’t fit her body type or personality. I even had a hard time finding stuff that wasn’t sweaters or stuff like that since she didn’t live in an area that had a lot f snow. - FriendlySimmersNew TravelerThats a good idea there lots of style can be something nice comfy that can also be glamourous if needed for sims of all ages male and female sims
- GalacticGalSeasoned AceI want more formal wear for my male Sims. Erik has won nineteen Starlight Accolades (in a row) for Best Song. I dress him in a different suit each time, so that I don't lose track of the count. Trust me, it's imperative. I write up his story to share on the WHIYGT? thread and if I don't write things up soon enough, I forget. It threw my entire count off until I found the folder of Screenshots I was 'missing'.
Yes, normal everyday stuff would be great, too. I don't like the loose, blousy clothing they gave us. Makes a slim Sim seem overweight. I didn't wear this fashion ever, and I really just want better jeans and shirts/blouses for some variety.
