I would love to start making youtube videos what do I need to start doing that?

I have seen several microphones on Amazon for around $20-$30, which doesn't seem too expensive. Does anyone know what the minimum computer specs for recording should be? I know my computer doesn't meet them, but I'd hate to have to buy a new computer just for a hobby. I am hoping there is a way I can just update my current computer instead.
