Ideas at a Glance for Toddlers
So as an aside from the family play thread chat I wanted to offer people a place to suggest their ideas for a perfect scenarios for toddlers in TS4 in a bite size format as suggested by a couple of us...

I want my toddlers to have a good selection of hair style, hair bows, hats, etc. Even though some toddlers do not all have lots of hair - there are also many toddlers that do - including long hair even, some with short curly hair too.
Toddler clothes - tons - like even little nightgowns for little girls. Sunsuits. Pinafores. And SOCKS. For heaven sakes make my toddlers socks - both ankle socks and knee socks. Who ever had a toddler without socks?
Toddler play furniture would be cute. My toddlers had their own tea sets and small size table and chairs where they had tea parties with stuff animals and even their child size siblings. They also had toddler easels, blackboards, rocking chair, even toddler size easy chairs and yard chairs. When I gardened I used to bring my toddlers outside with me and they had toddler size gardening tools to pretend they too were gardening in the sand box.
What toddler does not have a toddler phone - the Fisher Price toddler phone - it could be a way that toddlers could start learning to talk by themselves by playing with their toddler phone and mimicking parents and older siblings who talk on real phones.
It would be nice, especially for households that can afford live - in nannies and where you would expect to see that kind of child care (like the richer Sims in every town) to be able to call a service that can allow one to choose to hire either a live in nanny or one that comes to the house as needed. But I would love the option for my wealthy sims to have live in. Also if a parents has initiated training on various baby skills that a live in Nanny can continue training a skilling toddler in things like eating, talking, potty training and even walking. Also if a family has a live in Nanny - if the family goes on vacation - let it be a choice whether to include the toddler on the family vacation along with nanny or leave them home with the nanny - let it be the players choice to at least take a toddler on at least certain kinds of vacations.
It would be nice if we could also have child and toddler size play kitchens, little playable doll strollers, shopping carts where child age and toddlers could play together as pretend grown ups. Also adding swings to the game where one can add on a toddler swing to the swing set.
sit On and ride em toys that toddler play with or crawl onto and ride all by them selves - These could be used in a toddler play yard outside so the toddler could not wander off on the toy.
Child as well as teen sims could help teach a toddler to use a tricycle, a pedal car, and their toddler bike with training wheels - as another method of the older simmies forming a good social and friendship base with their younger siblings.
I would like toddlers to be Leary of strangers like they were in Sims 2 - by them not allowing a stranger to pick them up or confront them as toddler are known to do. At least in my house there was never much chance of a stranger abducting my toddlers as they would scream like banshees if a stranger tried to pick them up.
ETA - It would be great if Sims could get the ability to even make toddler toys on the work bench like the toy bench and perhaps make somethings that were unique - like child furniture and ride em toys they could not other wise have in game or to have in game made toys to sell in a special retail simmer ran toy store too.
A child age and toddler kiddie park would be fun with rides like you see at Disneyland but just for child age and toddler. It would be nice if we could even make our own Kiddie Park.
