I think really, my number one wish for toddlers is that they are playable. I don't mind the object babies at all actually. I know some people dislike it, but I've only ever played babies in The Sims 1 so this is what I'm used to! But toddlers definitely should be controllable.
I just hope that they look like the render because that toddler is adorable as all get-out
