So as an aside from the family play thread chat I wanted to offer people a place to suggest their ideas for a perfect scenarios for toddlers in TS4 in a bite size format as suggested by a couple of us...

I want to add to something when they age up. I know the kid has to jump out of the crib now, but what is so disappointing is there isn't a celebration. I find this very unfamily play (if there is such a term, lol). In the other games no matter which Sim somebody is going to help with birthday. I was really disappointed not only they jump from tiny baby to kid four feet tall out of that crib but that no one cared. Mom has her back to crib and poof it's a kid! No one ran over to watch, no one celebrated. Life should be celebrated in the game whether we queue it up or not. These Sims are supposed to be smarter....o.k.....they should really pay attention to baby and if there is a toddler they should run over to watch it grow up. Family means ' I care' to me.
