Ideas at a Glance for Toddlers
So as an aside from the family play thread chat I wanted to offer people a place to suggest their ideas for a perfect scenarios for toddlers in TS4 in a bite size format as suggested by a couple of us...

Here are some pictures from TS3. I think what is important to remember is that we all play differently. Our ideas of what makes family play and toddlers important are probably vastly different. It's important to think of this lifestage (actually, the whole game) as a creative tool. We will make our own game. Options are important, the more the better. We don't all need to be told how to play and what to do. It's good to keep some of that for the people that do need it, but it is so, so, so important that you don't tie us down and punish us because of those types of players.
Also...let's face it. When there are toddlers, there will be plenty of them. We need color options and lots of different types of furniture. I can't speak for everyone, but I have always been the type of player that decorates each and every one of my sims bedrooms to reflect them and their personalities. I had like 20GB of recolors in TS2 and CASt made it much easier in TS3. But in TS4, we're already lacking any kind of diversity in furniture and none of it matches. Please, please, please make toddler furniture colors interchangeable and matchable. That way we can use different pieces from different sets to make our rooms. Also, can infants have new beds? If you are going to tie them down, can we at least get some diversity in where they sleep?
Another thing, clothes. Can we stop treating them like parents don't love dressing them up in adorable clothing? We love buying them little outfits and shoes and hats and anything we can pile on them. It's just how we toddler. Give us those options in the game.
