I would love this! I do, though, think it should be optional for players, as many might not want this.
My main reason is that I'd like to see Sims have individual spending ability. Right now, a Sims Child can spend as much $ as their family has; restricting that to an allowance or their own earned income would add a lot of interest to family play.
I'd also like to see optionally directed inheritances so, I can leave a default setting that, say, divides household value up among children or will it all to a Sim of my choice... with resulting emotional and relationship hits. I'd like to see child support too, and post-divorce financial arrangements. I am totally okay with increasing bills at the same time, if it makes a system balance better.
