I use the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration to track this. It tracks how much money a sim makes from their own efforts, and as long as that number's under $200,000, that (or that minus a reasonable amount for that sim's share of the household bills or whatever skill objects purchased for their use) is what they move out with. It probably helps that I've got a degree in accounting IRL...
Prolly helps, lol. Also seems like a complicated workaround, but helpful. As you seem to use this feature a bit, does it still work/track money earned when the sims are working on another aspiration? I dont want all my sims to be fortune sims or getting aspiration points for aspirations they dont have.
The short answer is yes. It's one of the good ones that actually tracks what it says it tracks. I wish all the aspirations were like that.
