Can I make this using the pool tool if I wanted it above ground? Or maybe increase the terrain where I want the 'pool/pond' look. What I'm really looking for is to make a home with a 2 story fish tank in the middle. Can y'all offer any ideas?
@joRN1414 You can't put 2 pools on top of each other straight and if you raise the pool walls, the floor the pool is in will also have higher wall. Only way I know of to achieve similar to what you want is to cheat. If you know how to make above ground builds with foundation (bridges), the process is the same. If you don't, there's a link thread that has a video guide how to do it.
Using that method, you first build the above ground foundation room in the air and place a pool to it - use windows that have as big of an area of clear glass as possible on the walls (depending on wall height and what packs you have). You basically have a floating fish tank. Now you can build a pool under that and use the vertical arrows on the floating room to lower it very close to the pool under it but can't touch it. Only way to make the floor of the floating room transparent is to use the see through dance floor giving a somewhat illusion of 2-story fish tank... That's the best I can think of.
As you can see, there's that little gap between the floors... you could hide it with decorative objects using MOO. But as said, that's the best I can think of.
EDIT: Hid the first pics away in spoiler because this is my best solution for 2 story aquarium illusion above ground... Ground level: build a normal room, copy it. 1st floor: place the copied room on top (= 2 stories). Make the room size pool on the top room - notice: so that the pool is on the above ground room, you have to build the pool on the 2nd floor. Cover all the walls on both floors with windows and place the see-through dance floor to the pool floor. Decorate both floors - which is the most important part of the illusion! Notice that, if you want fish in there by using the fishing signs, the aquarium has to be massive as the fish swim roughly in an area the size of 10x10 squares. Anything smaller and the fish will swim through the walls in the air as in the pics below as the model I made is only 4x6 squares.
Notice: the ground floor room is just a room with windows (no pool) and the 1st floor has the pool.
@Gwiniel : Thank you so much for your comments! I am super late to respond. That is an awesome way to do that. And, it looks real, I don't think I would have even known if you wouldn't have mentioned it! 6x4 is a good size too. Thank you!
