Jeweler Career?

I love that idea.

I'd love to have that in my game. I really wish that the gems that my sims collected could be more than just something to put on a shelf lol.

This would be cool and would be sweet to have Sims give crafted items like that to their love interest or even a family member and see them actually wearing it.

Yes! This would be far more interesting than collecting the elements to do nothing with them.

Great idea! I remember we used to be able to buy a ring fro a sim in TS1, they never atually wore it of course but nowdays with the better game engine, sims should be able to wear handcrafted jewelery instead of just CAS items. It would be a great use for all those crystals my sims collect. :smile:

I really hope so, both as a career and as a skill. (Like Flower Arranging/Gardening Career in Seasons) You could make accessories like the buyable ones in Bon Voyage, or display them in cases. For the career, item unlocks could be jeweler's furniture/cases to use in your own store.

Currently, I have a "jewelry store" as part of a retail lot, but it is just decoration. I used the cut gemstones from Seasons and put them on shelves behind a counter.
