letters?

my sims live next to Salim Benali, and recently i've been watching him constantly get mail while my sims only get mail when their rent is due. that got me thinking: i would like it if sims could get random letters from their friends or something like that. what's the point of a mail system if it's only used for bills/rent and rock samples? letters would be nice.

    hmmm, texting each other is one thing, although I wouldn't want narratives just because I don't want anything that would be "Out of character"
    just a little thought bubble about who they're texting. maybe icons at least about what they're texting about.

    but actually letters if they're "old-fashioned" oooh that should be a trait.

    @alyssa123 if you sign up for a "penpal" you can get postcards (only 1) from Sims 3 towns/cities.
