Life's Moment's Game Pack: MILESTONES!
I couldn't let go of the creative itch in my mind to plan out my own game pack. I guess most of us Simmers are creative people so we even daydream about cool new features we want sometimes! Anyway, here is my stream of thought planning for a pack that has actually been on my mind for a couple years! Tell me what you think and add your own ideas of course! :
SIMS 4 GAME PACK
MILESTONES
--There will be a patch a week before release that finally frees babies from their bassinets! Unlike Sims 3 the Sims will NEVER lay the baby on the ground like a piece of garbage. They will always put the baby back in bassinet when directed. They can multi-task many things when holding their baby. The big patch will also reintroduce the ability to pick times and now even days of any social event you choose. You will be reminded by a pop up 2 hours before any event begins just in case you need to do some last minute planning before it starts.
This is all about the biggest life moments at every age stage! Many things from Generations return along with big moments to celebrate that include never-before-seen things for Sims games!
EXAMPLES OF FEATURES:
--New toddler/baby items include playpen, swing, walker, and the "teaching talking" sound toys make a return too. The stroller makes a return as well. Babies and toddlers can be placed in it and options are: "Go for a walk" where they stroll around their current neighborhood; "Travel with..." where sim puts their little one in stroller and then you get a popup of where to go. Yes Sims are amazing at teleporing with their child to different worlds!
--children through elders can now play "peek-a-boo" with the toddlers!
--Children can lose tooth and have option to hide it under their pillow. At night the tooth fairy will come and give a random amount of money.
--Sims child through Elder can do jump rope. Buy one in buy mode. There are cool jump tricks that sims can learn with practice!
--New play games and return of the old. Games are: Tag (Up to 5 sims child through elder!), Mary Mack, Rock, paper scissors, and hot hands!
-- A variety of cute puppets can be purchased. If they are in the inventory of toddler through elder they can do a few fun interactions with them.
TEENS
--When teens graduate you can pick who you want to attend the event and they leave for a rabbit hole event of the graduation and come back. The teen will wear their special graduation outfit. A few days after the graduation you have chances of getting a variety of gifts in the mail from relatives, much like birthdays, encouraging your newly graduated teen.
--Teens can run away from home and cause lots of drama in their home if they want to be rebellious! New rebellious trait can cause autonomous running away, more fights with parents, and more desires for stuff like tattoos and MOTORCYLCES!
Yes, Milestones bring back vehicles!
--Parents have to teach the teen how to drive and then you will get a pop-up for rabbit hole event for a teen to go take the actual test! There will be factors such as practice amount and mood to determine whether your teen actually gets their license!
You can have cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles. They have all the function of Sims 2 vehicles but disappear and appear onto a road like 3 and go to your destination. Cars have a different loading screen when you use them to go somewhere.
FIND YOUR FIRST LOVE
--Children can develop crushes on other children and have a few innocent interactions with their little crushes. It can be crush and then "puppy love"! So adorable!
--Have your sim make an online dating profile or use Simder app from the smartphone! The online dating profile is more involved and you can add your traits, a mini bio. Add up to 5 pics of your sim etc. You will get messaged and be able to message other sims in the worlds and browse their profiles! Set up a date at any lot of your choosing if you decide to go on a date with a sim!
--The Simder app is more straight forward and you choose to swipe left to ignore, right to message and possibly get match for a date!
--New romance interactions with this pack are surprise engagement, slow dancing (Has a varitey of options and even children can slow dance like they could in Sims 2!), Heat of the moment kiss, cuddle on bed, and woohoo in the shower!
FIRST LOVE OF COURSE CAN DEVELOP INTO AN ENGAGEMENT AND SUBSEQUENT WEDDING PLANS!
New social events include engagement party, baby shower, bachelor party, and bachelorette party! Each event has unique interactions only present during these special events!
NEW SERVICE FOR EVENTS: EVENT PLANNER!
--When choosing to throw an event you will notice a new option under the "prestige event" checkmark. It will say "event planner service" and be an extra 75 bucks.
--Choose Event Planner from your phone and you will get to customize what kind of things you want your guests to wear, if you want them to bring a certain food type, and even what TIME and DAY you want your event to begin! It can be used for any and all event types! However, weddings see the deepest amount of customization.
--Weddings are more in-depth than ever. Any engaged sim has choice to pick best man/woman, Maid of honor/Man of honor, flower girl/boy, if they want LIMO to pick them up and drive them to the wedding destination, and other little details! If you choose EVENT PLANNER you can customize all these options with one screen. However, you can have your sim specifically ask certain sims during live mode whether they want to be your maid of honor or any of these roles. If your sim has chosen some of these roles from gameplay already and you choose the event planner, it will already show whoever your sim chose in these certain roles on the planning screen!
--There is new lot type called WEDDING GATHERING LOT where these in-depth weddings can proceed with precision. The game pack will come with 3 pre-built Wedding Gathering Lots that include all necessary seating and so forth.
--Professional Photographer is another service that you can choose for your events and has a variety of photo poses that you can choose from and buy from just like you'd do in real life. They will either come to your home to take the pics or if you are event planning a wedding you can pick the "Professional Photographer" and there will special poses available for weddings! Remember your big day in style!
DEATH AND FUNERALS
--Death will be handled much better now! You will get notifications of anyone that your sim had a friend level with or if they were a relative if they pass on another lot! If someone dies on your lot you immediately have interaction with all sims called "Inform about Death". If it is a sim that died on another lot you will get an invite for that sim's funeral and choose to accept to go to it after it tells you what time the event will start.
--If someone dies on the lot there will immediately be a new social event called funeral where you can honor the dead. When the funeral starts there will be a variety of options to honor and discuss the sim that passed away. Using the podium you can deliver eulogies or ask to give eulogy to sims that don't live in your household. People will have a chance of giving you gifts such as cards and bouquets too.
--All gravestones have option to "Add flowers..." for 25 bucks and you get a popup that ask exactly which flowers you want put next to the gravestone.
