Lot Ideas

First, a very nice gallery you have there! Well thought out and well done. As for store ideas, TS2 Open for Business gave us a lot of options that would be nice to have in TS4: toy store, clothing store, food market, game and book shops, arcades, hair-dresser, pet shop - both the pets and their accessories, general store, craft shop, furniture, flowers, probably more that I'm not remembering at the moment. There was even a mini-mall with a variety of established stores and vacant ones where a sim could set up their own. Free Time gave you the option of fixing up cars and selling them.

Etie Art Gallery is very nice! :) It looks very nice how you have set up the Gallery. The paintings and photo prints on the walls look very nice. It is great that there is a separate warehouse for sims to create the artwork and take photos using the photo studio item. It was great reading about how you use the Art Gallery Store in your game.

The community lots we got in the Jungle Adventure pack were boring, so I decided to spruce them up. I started with the town square. It was lacking amenities most village centers have in South American countries. I started with one of @ehaught58 builds as a base for my concept. I edited the majority of the lot and added residences on the compound to give it that village feeling. I named it The Roadus Resort Hotel & Spa. The resort compound contains a bar, restaurant, spa, and hotel, in addition to the traditional Selvadoradian residences I mentioned before. The entirety of the resort is walled off for your Sims protection, and to discourage guerrilla fighters from attacking. A large covered supply area is located on the resort compound just in case a siege occurs at the hands of the rebels. I made sure all of the smaller homes are decorated in traditional Selvadoradian fashion. Overall, it feels much more immersive than what we had before.

Roadus Resort Hotel & Spa looks so very creatively great! :) The design and layout of the build looks very nice! The towers look very nice. It is great that it contains a number of residences,and a bar, restaurant, spa and hotel. It has many special feature areas and facilities , and is a very detailed build that suits Selvadorada so very well!

I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus, but I’m back with a new project I’ve been dying to share. These A Frame Cabins reside on the old Riverside Retreat lot in Granite Falls. When I started construction I wanted to ensure multiple families would be able to vacation on a single lot without compromising living space. Adding an additional A Frame Cabin on the lot satisfied this need by allowing two separate families to enjoy their stay without sharing a singular unit. I drew my initial inspiration for this project from a small modular construction firm based out of Estonia named Avrame. The majority of their homes are A framed units with added extensions to allow for more rigid wall space. This lot isn't on the gallery yet, but expect to see it soon!

The layout of A Frame cabins looks very nice! :) Very nice A frame design of the exterior of the cabins! They look very nice! It is great that there are two cabins on the one lot. Very nice campfire area between the cabins for the two families to enjoy sitting around the fire together. The chequured grass patterning is a nice touch.

I’ve been working on the Parched Prospect neighborhood for quite some time now. I’m almost done, I just needed to add a few more buildings in the back corner before it’s fully complete. While I was working on this neighborhood I came up with a pretty good backstory. There are four homes that were built in the sixties in this neighborhood when one of the first casinos opened up in the area. The homes followed a traditional atomic ranch style that was prominent in western desert cities during that time. After the local casino took off in the late nighties, small condos were placed on other vacant lots. The largest condo complex has three units and a clubhouse, while the other condo lot is merely a split level apartment. I’ll most likely put two newer condo units behind the two smaller atomic ranch homes with an clubhouse to match. Only time will tell. A few of these lots are already on the gallery, so expect the rest to pop up soon!

The Neighbourhood looks great! :) The types of homes that you have built for the neighbourhood complement each other. Very nice exterior designs of the homes!
