Oh wow, Marnie is far more toxic then I realized. She’s just Kelly with money and a sense of entitlement. To have access to money like she does and to bully somebody you’re friendly with and is struggling to make ends meet is really low. I’m feeling like her ‘friendship’ with Evie is simply a means to show off and inflate her sense of superiority. Evie is so determined and desperate to break away from who she was and where she came from that she is making terrible choices. I hope she doesn’t have too hard a fall before she finds herself.
