Magic Pack: Creat a curse/blessing/charmed objects idea!

I often brainstorm on how I want a magical expansion pack to come to Sims 4. Today I was inspired by how we are getting customizable holidays with Seasons and thought it'd be awesome if future witches could cast curses/blessings on certain objects if they get high in the "magic skill" and WE AS PLAYERS could choose exact effects!!! For example, say you decided to curse a bed. An option would come up called "Customize a Curse" and we'd get a full screen with a slew of options! There could be options like burst into flames, freeze the sim, drain all needs (aka death! lol), attack of the bugs, or whatever options you can come up with on this thread and share with me! We could also pick how long this curse/blessing lasted dependent on the current magic level or strength of the witch who was doing the bewitching!! I imagine any cursed/blessed object would have some visual effect so that the player remembers it was magically changed. I think this would provide an endless variety of scenarios for storytelling and fun for the players! What are your thoughts on this idea? Any suggestions to add to it?

  • I think this could be a fun idea to implement into say a 'supernatural' expansion pack or something along those lines.
  • Hmmm.

For Enchantments, sure... I think it depends on the spell too. like you said if you wanted to curse a bed with bedbugs sure your way works, simple interactions menu.

however if it were a Curse/Potion that did internal damage or not, I would use a cauldron to craft a potion/curse.
and to make it more difficult, if I wanted to craft a Sleeping Curse, Curse of Infertility. it should require extra ingredients to change the original design of the curse.

For example the Sleeping curse, originally, is a Permanent Sleep, if I wanted to factor True Love's Kiss into it, I could add a symbol of their love to
do it. If I wanted to be malignant I would simply kill their true love, and they will be asleep for ever.
If I didn't want the Curse to be permanent I need an ingredient to override the other.

this way I could apply the potion/curse to any food. So if I wanted to poison an Apple, a plate of Roast Chicken or a Glass of Wine. i just pour it on.

Meanwhile I feel like some spells should be discreet. like a poisoned apple it shouldn't be glowing or pink, Maybe when you hover over it says "Poisoned apple: Sleeping Curse" or maybe it stacks differently in inventory.
