Marks We Leave Legacy [Updated 1/7]

Hooo boy, it has been a hot minute since an update! I got so overwhelmed with the holidays and family coming in from out of the country that my writing and screenshotting just fell to the wayside, but I am back! This is a short mini-chapter to add some context to the next long chapter that'll go up at the normal time on Saturday (12pm EST). And I'm getting ahead in writing and screenshots the next few days so that I can queue up the next few weeks' updates and not fall behind when school starts again. The good thing about this is I had a lot of time to plot out where I want this story to go, so it's just a matter of typing it up.
