What does the Sims 4 need more? A new Vacation World or a new Life State.We had 3 vacation spots and 4 Lifestates by the time we got to EP4 in The Sims 3. We only have 1 spot and 3 Life States as of EP 4 with The Sims 4. Life State! The game is still way too mundane and I'll get far more play out of spellcasters or werewolves or mythical beings or enhanced humans or undead. Whereas if we got another vacation spot, I'd play it once or twice and be over it. I don't play my Sims game to mimic reality because reality is limited in its ability to be interesting, especially in this modern day of technological overkill. (Unless we're talking robots because robots are awesome.) I want my Sim world to be malleable and fantastical in its possibilities. Plus, Aliens and Vampires are such a blast to play in Sims 4 so... more of that please! >:)

Especially if we get more locations like Sixam and Forgotten Hollow.

deep down in my heart, I gotta say life state. witches are my dream addition. but based off what we've currently had, I would ultimately have to say vacation spots. we've only got GF so far and while I like it, it's been worn thin in my game right now. some killer variety in areas to visit (Bon Voyage, World Adventures) is deserved.

i'd prefer a life state, but I think the majority would be more pleased with a vacation spot.

Once you combine Herbalism, the Outdoor Enthusiast Aspiration, all the new collectables and gardening etc. it defs provides enough gameplay to have a Vacation every so often. I think at the momement it's boring because it's the only one. But with a brand new one, it would provide 3 new locations, new skill, new aspiration and new things to do. I think it could add some valuable gameplay as well. Which is why I can't really decide which I'd prefer for 2018 (both would be :love: ) but I don't think we'd be so lucky.

Supernatural life state for me. Especially if they are as good as The Vamps Gamepack.

I'd like to have a new life state but I'm more for a new vacation spot. Something like a mountain retreat or a beach where the sims can swim in the ocean would be cool.

Vacation spot please, and make it a nice size, bigger then the Outdoor retreat one, let us stay for up to a week at a time, with cheats to allow for more.

@jackjack_k Not to nitpick, but we technically have 4 life states, not 3.

Ghosts and Plant sims are both base game, and we have Vampires and Aliens.

The plant sims are kind of half baked and only a temporary life state, but still a life state none the less. Might wanna edit!

That being said, I can never have enough life states.

Plant Sims only activate teen and up. So if you Give a child a seed they won’t turn anyway

The only new life state I would actually be interested in is witches/warlocks. But I would like to see several different vacations spots.... a tropical one, a snowy one, a trip one, amusement parks, casino’s, a cruise around the mediteranian. To begin with

Another life state most definitely! I can live with the one vacation world we've got so far, but I need werewolves and magic (and better plant sims too) to add to my vampires and aliens. I'm both a huge fan and writer of fantasy and sci-fi, and my sims world just doesn't feel complete without having plenty of magical and weird science elements in it (heck, even if you were to look back on how I played with my Barbie dolls back when I was little, nothing was ever flat-out normal with them--aliens, mutants, vampires...I was not a "typical" little girl).

No offense to players who have a more "realistic" play style, but...It's been 3 years. Forget vacation spots, laundry, farms, or whatever. Werewolves, magic, robots, mutants (I count plant sims as mutants), and superheros are way more important to me than any of that stuff. Say it loud, "I'M NERD AND I'M PROUD!"

I'm suggesting that a Daddy Plant Sim mates with a Mommy Plant Sim and have a baby. Will that baby grow up to be a teen Plant Sim of just a normal human baby?

Sadly, the kid will just be normal. Being a plant sim is not a heritable trait in this version of the game... :(
