Well, there will certainly not be any items with new animations or tuning, so I second OP's wish for more working of the grid lamps.
But I'm afraid it might be restricted to build mode objects (as opposed to former buy mode in precious iterations): wallpaper, floor, windows, doors, decorative roof items and such.
