I already posted about my sim in my main save in favorite families thread, but I will post every now and then here too. My playstyle is very slow, some would say boring, but we each on our own way 🙂 Its first week of spring, she will spend weekdays for whole sim-year in Selvadorada. Only travels home to city at every weekend, to pay bills, go to festivals, and Sunday lunch every week in Hendford with her Aunt and Uncle, who are closest to parents she has 🙂 Her goal is not even go to jungle yet, just learn the culture, dance, and get to know locals. And top archeology skill.Simple living lot trait in her hut, so she has few plants and rooster and a chicken.Mainly now she learns rumbasim, (lots to learn, lol)learns many magic books she has, but not yet learned (slow play, spellcaster)or is fishing.

It was a day, and not so relaxing to my poor sim 😛 She was reading new spellbook, untill got a popup saying Indiana and Marion do not find their coop, and both are going to run away !!!Panic, where are they... found both!This means changes. Okay Indiana was first at home and Marion bit later.Chickens safe, and fence placed.Rest of the day went with the archeology table.And it was evening already. Local food goes all the way by now, she is used to it 🙂 Still not nearly ready for the jungle, but buying all extra stuff she might need.Back at her cabin she was super tired, been long day... but looked like her boyfriend had rented the Villa opposite the canyon all by himself. And decided to come and have a chat.She was really ready for bed... but how to send him away nicely... hmm... HA!! Of course...THIS!And lol, yes he left right after, and again did not bother even to dress himself up😛 FINALLY!

Week goes slowly, not drama now when chickens are safe.Oh, these bananas aren't burned, looks like it :DThey were excellent quality, hahTHEN!! AT THURSDAY, MUDD WAS HATCHED!!!!

Been playing with others in the save a lot lately 🙂 Back to Taru. She had once again a weekend to spend before vanishing into ungle for a whole week 🙂 She also managed to finish her freelance writing gig.Saturday had no flea market, so she left early for country. Indiana and Marion were doing great! As did the old chickens..So much eggs that had to even cook eggs only 😃After eating, Fair was going to start, she left there with her aunts.She asked her best friend Sara to oin, Simon could take care the pub.They had gifts to eachother, Simon had made a great pies the day before, Sara wanted Taru to have one.Taru gave her an Omiskan doll as return.The fair was going but Agnes suggested her that she could escape from it, to library.It was getting late..After grilling some corn, off to sleep upstairs of the pub. Long week ahead.

Okay, finally time to jungle. Scary weird noices right away.. gladly nothing.That bridge tho... After all the moist from waterfall... After all rain...Is it safe?? All she could do is try.**********************************************After dealing with first digsite ...There was tiny problem.. "Make sure you never tell I did this!"You gotta go when you gotta go 😛After fertilizing the bush, she wanted to move forward, she needed her camp up and running.Bats tried to stop her... but after all, she has been one herself in past, she knew what to do. Other side was perfect to have the camp.Of course she had to admire the view from the cliff, it was amazing every time, over and over again.She was starving.Hot dog would taste great!Hmm. I assume that's paper plate what she burned after eating..Fire gone, she does not want to cause forest fires.And little bit refreshment from the water bottle!Rest of the evening went with this digsite.There was hardly phone coverage, but she tried to text her aunt and boyfriend she was okay.She was going to sleep, but something was not right!Holy spider, Batman! That was huge! She had bugspray with her.Rest of the night went well.

@rosemow thank you 🙂 Back at Taru again. She could not leave to jungle without visiting Mopsi first. Mopsi still was living with her cousin in Chestnut.Nice hike around the hood had to be done too. They got bit lost, as she had only visited Chesnut Ridge briefly before, to see Mopsi.John was on a jog and helped them to find right path.Poor Mops got tired, it was getting late. Taru had to carry him home 🙂 ***********************************Finally back to Selvadorada.To get to the basecamp before jungle, she had to run from her cabin, all the way across the Puerto Lamante marketplace....... to the boats at dock. She had to get across the river, after all.(NOTE: Of course I only pretend she has to do all this, instead just pressing M and instatravel. I like this way better, we all on our style 🙂 ) Last checking if other explorers left any notes, then she was ready to go.

It is great reading about and seeing pictures of your sim @Ellupelluellu 🙂 It is very nice that she enjoys living in Selvadorada and it would be special family times on weekends to travel home for a special Sunday meal to visit her Aunt and Uncle ❤️
I hope that her building of archaeology skill and her learning of rumvasim goes well. It is great that she grows plants and her Indiana Jones rooster is cute!

She's living the life I'd like. Simple, enjoying the solitude, good books to read.
I really enjoyed the archeology skill. It's been long enough now that it wouldn't be boring to start it with a different sim.

I wish our sims could live in Selvadorado. It's in the running for being the most beautiful world is TS4. Sulani and Tartosa are the other two I'd be choosing from. She really is living an idyllic life.🙂

I do use townie overhaul mod what nukes spawning of Selvadoradan locals.
She travelled there first time without the mod, to let them spawn. I exited, placed the mod back, did tiny makeovers to who needed it and now she has the same 10 - 15 (two kids) locals always when she goes there at Mondays.🙂
edit: I wish it would work like this with normal townies too. But this is why I really like Selvadorada locals 🙂

Thank you for pointing me towards that mod @Caerfinon. I need to do another clean up on my mods folder before I add anything else first. It's gone back over the 100gb mark and the strain is beginning to show. I lowered my resolution by half, cleaned out any dust, and my fan is still screaming. I did a test this morning without the mods folder and it was nice and quiet. I keep putting off a real mod folder clean up because of how much work is going to need to be done to fix bald, shoeless, naked sims. I think it's getting to the point that I have choose that or burning my computer up.
