Need Help Please with Clutter Items

Good day everyone! I am attempting to practice my building skills and am using the Immaculate in my kitchen. However, whenever I tried to place an item on it (for example the spiceduo boxes), the item keeps on snapping to the wall. I tried using the box from home decor and raising the item from the counter, but every time it moves, it snaps to the wall. How can I stop this?

 Is there a video that you can reference for wall snapping? Everything I found on youtube has not been addressing this issue.
