Poor Pia!! I just want her and Ben to be happy but Leroy is right that she should tell Ben when she's ready. It's best for her own state of mind. Lots of hugs for Sofia and I hope she isn't pregnant with that (well I can't say it but insert a swear word here) 's kid. But, even if she is, then Ben will be there for her though it. He's a good friend and has grown up since the beginning of this gen, which is good to see.

It was sad to hear that Ben's mum has PTSD but good that she's happy with Leroy. He loves her and you can tell. I'm hoping she'll also be there with Sofia through it all but I don't doubt she will. She seems to care about both Sofia and Ben.

I think Leroy got a standing O for his outstanding performance in this chapter! :) And he was careful not to take it too far, but just as Ben figured, Jesse hit a raw nerve and he couldn’t help himself. And Ben’s mother would have been devastated if he wound up in prison. She has PTSD from her 17 year marriage to her ex-husband who became physically abusive the last few years of their marriage. He had become emotionally abusive prior. She met Leroy after she took Ben (10 years old at the time) along with his older brother and baby sister and ran away. Sorry for the back story here...

Sofia...my heart goes out to her. I am so glad she has Ben and his Mom to help her through it. She cares a lot for Sofia. They have known her and Nick for awhile. You will see how she feels about their relationship or lack thereof in a couple of chapters. :smile: And Ben will totally be there for her no matter what happens. <3

I get why it would do it to her. From what I know (which is not a lot) about my mum's relationship with my father, it was similar. Gave her nightmares for a while afterwards but she had my dad (different guy and her partner) to get through it with. Like Kate she doesn't hate him just pities him. Glad to say she's happy with my dad and doesn't have nightmares anymore. :)

Sofia, poor woman. I hope (along with everyone else) that Jesse doesn't turn up again. I don't think we need Ben in prison as I doubt it would go too well and rightly so after what he did. Jesse's words just made me want to punch him if I'm honest. No one owns anyone else. :angry:
